At Look Natural Aesthetics, we offer a doctor-led medical consultation to assess moderate to severe hay fever symptoms and discuss appropriate management options.
Our Approach
We do not offer “quick steroid jabs”.
Instead, we provide a structured medical assessment to ensure that any treatment offered is safe, appropriate and clinically justified.
Your appointment includes:
Full medical history review
Discussion of symptom severity and previous treatments
Assessment of contraindications and risk factors
Discussion of risks, benefits and alternative treatments
Intramuscular steroid treatment if clinically appropriate

When Is a Steroid Injection Considered?
For some patients with severe seasonal allergic rhinitis who:
Have not responded adequately to antihistamines or nasal sprays
Experience significant impact on sleep or daily functioning
Have predictable seasonal patterns
A single intramuscular corticosteroid injection may be considered after full assessment.
However, this treatment is not suitable for everyone.
We take a cautious approach, particularly in patients with:
Diabetes
Hypertension
Glaucoma
Osteoporosis
Immunosuppression
Certain mental health conditions
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
If a steroid injection is not appropriate, we will discuss safer alternative strategies.

Steroid injections for hay fever are used selectively and responsibly.
They are not a routine or first-line treatment.

Hay Fever Consultation (Doctor-Led) £95 (includes injection if clinically appropriate)
If treatment is clinically appropriate and agreed following assessment, it can be administered during the same appointment.
Appointments are available during peak allergy season.
